How the tip is calculated
Tip amount is calculated by multiplying the bill amount by the selected tip percentage.
The total bill is the original bill plus the tip. If more than one person is entered, both the tip and total are divided equally.
This calculator does not assume any specific currency, so you can use it with any currency as long as all entered values use the same one.
