What the checker actually verifies
Muft uses IANA’s RDAP bootstrap directory to find the authoritative registration-data service for the domain’s top-level extension. A returned domain object is evidence of a registration record. Public dates, nameservers and contact fields may be incomplete or redacted.
No record does not guarantee availability
A name can lack a public RDAP record yet still be reserved, premium-priced, restricted, blocked, in a launch phase or otherwise unavailable to you. Registrar inventory and pricing are the final checks. Rate limits, unsupported extensions and service failures are reported as inconclusive.
How to use it
Enter one complete domain such as example.com. Muft finds the authoritative RDAP service through IANA and checks for a registration record. Always confirm a no-record result, eligibility and final price with a registrar before making plans.
Privacy
The domain is sent to IANA’s RDAP directory and the authoritative registry service needed to answer the lookup. Muft does not store lookup history. Do not use this tool for confidential naming research.
