Todoist Beginner is always free and includes up to five personal projects, reminders, list and board layouts, three filter views, integrations and seven days of activity history. A personal project can include up to five people, and files up to 5 MB can be attached. The same account can use Todoist across web, desktop and mobile apps.

Beginner is limited to five personal projects, three filters, seven days of history and 5 MB uploads. Calendar layout, task duration, custom reminders, 150 filters, full activity history and automatic backups require a paid plan. Team workspaces have their own active-project and collaboration rules, so personal project limits should not be read as unrestricted team project management.
