ElevenLabs Free costs $0 and supplies 10,000 credits each month across text to speech, speech to text, sound effects, Voice Design, music and other supported tools. The pricing page estimates roughly 10 minutes of text-to-speech output and includes up to three Studio projects. Credit cost varies by product and model, so using one tool leaves fewer credits for the others.

Free credits do not roll over. The plan has no commercial license: output created while on Free cannot be used commercially later. Any non-commercial content published from Free must attribute ElevenLabs in the title using “elevenlabs.io” or “11.ai”; Free Eleven Music publication must reference “Eleven Music.” Instant Voice Cloning requires Starter or above, Professional Voice Cloning requires Creator or above, and users must have appropriate rights and permission for any voice or source material.

Non-commercial experiments with synthetic speech, transcription, effects, music or designed voices before deciding whether a commercial paid plan is justified.
