Boasting an impressive output of 1015 CV, the Revuelto combines the power of an all-new combustion engine with three electric motors, introducing the first-ever double-clutch gearbox for a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The powertrain incorporates high specific power elements, featuring a new 127 CV/liter combustion engine working alongside two front axial flux motors, resulting in an exceptional weight-to-power ratio. Additionally, a radial flux electric motor is seamlessly integrated into the brand-new eight-speed double-clutch transmission, a remarkable achievement for a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. These three electric motors are efficiently powered by a lithium-ion battery pack renowned for its high specific power of 4500 W/kg, and they also enable a fully electric driving mode.
Revuelto’s engine layout showcases unprecedented design ingenuity. It houses a mid-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, complemented by three electric motors. Two of these motors are positioned on the front e-axle, while the third is ingeniously integrated into the novel eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. This configuration optimizes space utilization, with the transmission placed transversely behind the V12 engine. This arrangement allows room in the tunnel for the high-specific-power lithium-ion battery that powers the electric motors. With the incorporation of a wet double clutch, Revuelto efficiently manages the impressive torque of 725 Nm at 6750 rpm generated by its internal combustion engine.
